Straight talk
Four things owners get wrong about fast business loans
"The bank said no, so nobody will lend."
Banks decline for policy reasons — late accounts, a loss year, tax arrears. Non-bank lenders read your current bank statements or your property equity instead. What to do after a decline.
"Unsecured is always quicker."
For small amounts, often. For bigger gaps, a caveat-style loan or second mortgage can be faster because equity does the heavy lifting. Secured vs unsecured.
"Owing IRD rules me out."
IRD debt is considered case by case — and clearing it in one go can stop penalties and interest building. IRD debt loans.
"Shopping around with lots of lenders gets the best deal."
A cluster of credit enquiries can make every lender warier. One well-matched application beats ten scattered ones — that's why we never spray your details.

Quick GST check
How much of your takings is GST?
In New Zealand, GST is 15%, so three twenty-thirds of every GST-inclusive dollar belongs to Inland Revenue. Pop in a week's or a month's takings to see what to set aside before the next return.

How fast can a New Zealand business get a loan?
Same-day funding is possible for smaller unsecured amounts when bank statements and ID are ready. Property-secured loans of $20,000 to $250,000 can be possible the same day, and larger secured loans up to $5,000,000 can be possible within 24 to 48 hours.
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check only comes up once you've seen your options and chosen to go ahead.
What is a cash flow business loan?
Short-term funding sized on what your bank account shows, used to cover the gap between bills going out and money coming in — GST, wages, stock, a slow month or a new contract. Unsecured amounts typically run from $5,000 to $500,000.
Do I need property to borrow?
No. Many trading businesses borrow unsecured. Property — a home, rental or commercial building — opens up larger amounts from $20,000 to $5,000,000 and can help with credit issues or IRD debt.
Can you help if I owe Inland Revenue?
Often, yes. IRD debt is considered case by case, and a loan can clear GST, PAYE or income tax arrears in one go.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. One person works on your enquiry and matches it properly. We don't spray your details across a list of lenders.
Do you publish interest rates?
No. Every business loan is priced on the business's own circumstances, so a headline rate would be meaningless. You'll see real costs before you commit to anything.
